Course reuse feature allows the instructor to import activities, gradebook configurations and other settings from previous courses.
First, please access the course where you want to perform the import. Make sure to remove all current topics/activities before you start the import.
Afterwards, click on "More" -> Course Reuse

Just as an example, search for "IST-Template-Course", then select the course and click Continue.

For IST courses, IST-Template-Course is a good starting point. It contains Labs, Quizzes, Midterms, Finals and Bonus activities. In addition, the gradebook setup is already configured according to the IST department grading outline.
Keep all settings checked, then click continue.
Second step of the import
Finally, click on perform import. This will import all settings and apply them to the current course.
